Lifelong Douglas County Wisconsin resident and business owner.
Graduated from Superior Senior High School and WITI Superior receiving an Associates Degree in Accounting and a Business Computer Certificate.
Attended UW-Superior for Small Business Entrepreneurship and became the first tenant of the Business Incubation Center on the UW-Superior campus with a startup computer consulting business.
Owner of Winter Systems Computers for over 36 years.
Since 2019 I have been the part-time Business Manager for the Douglas County Historical Society.

During the past three decades, I’ve has been involved with many organizations including the Superior Jaycees, Superior/Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, Superior Rotary, and Douglas County Historical Society.
I served two terms as a Supervisor for the Town of Lakeside and Town Chairperson for one term.
